Our Client

A leading Insurer seeks to recruit a Lawyer c 6 + PQE with an insurance background to join a well-established in house legal team

The Role

This role provides an exceptional career opportunity for a Senior Legal Adviser to work in a business facing role advising on both legal and commercial matters as follows:-

Managing a workload covering a broad range of high end insurance products including home, motor, marine, SME and Life/Protection products

Advising on and drafting distribution agreements with Intermediaries and MGAs (TOBAs, DAAs, Co-insurance arrangements, Partnerships and MGA arrangements);

Legal advice on existing and new commercial arrangements and distribution deals, including , competition law, data protection, IP and general commercial contracts.

Implementation and delivery of in house training for the business

Management of external resources on large projects working alongside other members of the Legal and Company Secretariat function as well as Compliance and the Data Protection Teams.

Provision of regulatory and risk management advice to the business
