This is an exciting opportunity for a junior restructuring and insolvency lawyer to join a small, but busy and growing, restructuring and insolvency team within a transaction focused London law firm.
The team requires a junior lawyer to work as a core part of a restructuring and insolvency group as it continues to attract a range of exciting assignments from across the London market.
The firm's clients range from insolvency practitioners, banks and other lenders, investors, corporates and directors and the role will involve working on a range of restructuring, recovery and insolvency assignments, both transactional and advisory.
Although the role is primarily non-contentious in nature, having experience of, and an interest in, contentious insolvency and/or banking and finance work would be an advantage.
The ideal candidate will be NQ - 2PQE and will have gained excellent training gained at a leading mid-market London or regional law firm.
In particular, sound technical knowledge of insolvency concepts and legislation will be expected. As a guide, the successful candidate is likely to have up to two years' PQE, although newly qualified candidates who have done at least one six month training seat focused on restructuring and insolvency work will also be considered.
The ability to work well under pressure and to balance and prioritise a range of tasks, projects and deadlines is expected and candidates should also be keen to assist the team in a range of ongoing business development opportunities.
