A major UK and multinational law firm.
Set within the Regulatory, Compliance and Investigations team, you will be working with partners who focus on compliance work for national and international businesses, particularly in the food, retail and hospitality and associated sectors, such as consumer goods. The work focusses on delivering an in-house experience out of house.
They help clients find ways to commercialise innovative products, much of their advisory work is international and they have supported household name clients in many jurisdictions in the last year.
This role offers early responsibility for project managing international projects.
In addition to the compliance work, there is the ability to be involved in litigation involving the team's clients.
Your focus will however be on the compliance projects.
A lawyer with 1-3pqe you will provide commercial regulatory advice both in terms of supporting clients putting products onto the market both in the UK and project managing the delivery of advice in jurisdictions across the EU and beyond.
You will have and maintain an understanding of the latest developments in FMCG regulatory law and to regularly seek to update skills in addition to and outside of the CPD process, sharing learning across the team.
You will also have a strong track record of providing compliance advice as well as litigation experience.
