A new role has arisen for a highly motivated regulatory and public law lawyer to join a busy Regulatory and Public Law team advising regulators and professional bodies in relation to the exercise of statutory powers.
The team handles a varied caseload including acting in complex professional disciplinary proceedings, particularly in relation to solicitors, barristers, architects and accountants
The successful candidate will be a regulatory and public law lawyer 2-5pqe with a strong academic background (2:1
or above), who has worked within a leading national or London law firm.
You must have a previous experience in public and regulatory law in a contentious or non-contentious legal role and have experience of liaising directly with clients and counsel.
Solid drafting rules and policies experience, and ability to draft correspondence, witness statements and applications and conducting regulatory and related litigation.
You will have a flexible and committed approach and be able to work under pressure, possessing exemplary communication skills (verbal and written) and be able to work in a dynamic and stimulating environment
