A collegial law firm which has one of the largest Pensions teams in the South of England.
The Pensions team predominately advises trustees of DB and some DC schemes but also advises employers, insolvency practitioners, financial institutions and individuals.
The role will include handling the following:
Drafting scheme documentation.
Advising on scheme re-structuring including benefit changes and mergers, funding and deficit issues including contingent assets, discrimination, winding-up and liability management.
Dealing with accounts processes, including time recording and billing.
Providing clients with pension advice both face to face and in writing.
Involvement in business development initiatives.
Keeping up to date with changes in pension law and preparing/delivering updates for both clients and the team internally.
The successful candidate will be a pensions solicitor NQ-2PQE with experince gained in a top city or regional firm.
