Job Description

THE FIRM

A long established central London firm.

THE ROLE

A Civil Litigation Solicitor or employed barrister with 2-5pqe is sought to join the firm's expanding Dispute Resolution Team, which focuses on complex and high-value litigation and arbitration, including cases with a sanctions-related component.

THE CANDIDATE

Your experience should include working in a mid/top-market (London or regional) or City disputes resolution practice (or practices), focusing predominantly or solely on civil matters concerning high-value and/ or complex corporate, commercial and financial disputes in the Senior Courts/ UKSC or in international arbitral fora.

You should also have a strong grasp of the CPR and the Commercial Court Guide, as well as the CE-File system along with a proven track record of working on complex civil litigation and an ability to handle your own caseload (with supervision) for less complex cases, as well as assist on larger matters.

The ideal candidate would also have experience in some of the following:

* Civil fraud.
* Cross-border disputes and/ or the conflict of laws.
* Sanctions and white-collar crime/ investigations matters.
* Conducting litigation in the Central London County Court
* Personal finance/ banking matters for high net worth and/ or UNHWIs.
