The Group has experience in all aspects of dispute resolution in every forum imaginable and is divided into a number of specialist litigation and regulatory teams many of whom are market leaders in their fields.

THE ROLE

The team is now looking to recruit a Commercial Litigation Associate to join the team in London.

The role will focus on involvement in high value and complex litigation disputes.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Candidates will have a broad diet of work, that will include, but not be limited to:

Advising on all aspects of disputes avoidance, management and resolution of high quality highly complex disputes across a range of sectors

Management of disputes and preparation of strategies for dealing with claims be they by international arbitration, litigation, adjudication, expert determination or mediation

Drafting, reviewing and amending a range of dispute related documents (ranging from pleadings to pre action letters)

Strategically advising clients and managing client expectations and project delivery appropriately

ABOUT YOU

Candidates who have between 2 to 5 years PQE, are likely to have the right level of knowledge and have gained the right level of experience needed to be able to undertake this role.

In addition you will:

have strong Litigation experience gained in a leading regional or City firm

be able to demonstrate a deep understanding of the technical issues that are key to the firm's clients

be commercially astute and stay current on key legal and business news

have excellent skills in communication, client relations, and team-working

be able to work flexibly to tight deadlines within a fast moving environment

contribute to marketing and business development initiatives
