We have a new in house role for a Legal Counsel wit ha property/commercial pedigree to join a high profile organisation


This is a superb opportunity for a Solicitor c 5 - 10 PQE looking for an in house career move. The role offers a genuine opportunity to contribute to the success of a highly regarded organisation. The post holder will be expected to provide both commercial and strategic advice supporting the CFO, in developing and implementing a new and innovative in house legal programme.

The role will be to lead and manage a small in house legal function advising on a full range of commercial matters.

The core areas of work will involve advising on commercial issues and the development of a legal affairs strategy, covering at least three of the following core business areas;

Property/development, company secretarial, commercial contracts, litigation and management of potentially contentious issues and risk management

As part of the remit, the role will involve management of business relationships with external counsel and professional advisers.


To be considered for this in house role, applicants must be able to demonstrate first rate communication skills, capable of operating at a senior level. Ideally with previous property experience.

The role will be divided between London and North Kent, there may be an opportunity for flexible working arrangements for the successful candidate.
