A well known international company.
This is a new role for a Compliance Officer to administrate regulatory compliance across the Company, ensuring compliance with existing regulations, and incorporation of new regulations into the Company's policies, procedures and culture.
The role will involve monitoring regulations to ensure changes are understood and raised with the business at an appropriate level, working with the Senior Compliance Officer to manage the introduction of new regulations and proactively ensuring ongoing compliance with regulations on a departmental and company level, eg: FCA, DPA/GDPR, AML, CTF.
Legal requirements will include maintaining an appropriate level of knowledge and competence in the finance and insurance products appropriate to the role, in accordance with the requirements of the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA).
You will also have responsibility for helping the organisation to keep their personal data up-to-date and to help meet its data protection obligations to staff and to customers alike.
With experience of working within a Compliance department, you will have had exposure to core compliance requirements, e.g., FCA (Financial Conduct Authority), DPA (Data Protection Act), AML (Anti-Money Laundering) and CTF (Counter Terrorist Financing).
You should also have :
Compliance experience in a customer-facing environment.
Familiarity with Conduct Risk management and conducting compliance monitoring activities.
Good knowledge of Microsoft Office products, especially Word and PowerPoint.
