A new role role has arisen within the Legal Department for a junior commercial lawyer.
Joining a small collegial hands on team comprising two more experienced commercial lawyers, this is a great chance to make your mark in house.
You will be a commercial lawyer with 1-2pqe and have a broadly non-broadly non-contentious background.
You will have a thorough background in commercial/contract law, as the bulk of the daily work is the reviewing of agreements, and you will also be advising on a range of other areas including data protection (in particular the new GDPR regime), corporate governance, IT, IP, confidentiality as well as charity matters.
While you will not be expected to have in-depth knowledge of all of these areas, a general, strong understanding of commercial law and experience of a wide range of contracts is a must.
Some in-house experience would also be ideal.
