A Head of Legal is sought to be responsible for providing guidance on corporate governance, negotiating and drafting contracts, compliance & risk management, and the delivery of an overall first-class service across the business.
You will build, guide and develop a robust commercial legal team and champion best practice ensuring recruitment practices and procedures are of a high standard, as well as developing and maintaining positive relationships with internal and external contacts.
The work will include:
Commercial contract review including advising on terms of business, highlighting risks and offering alternatives or additions to complex contracts whilst maintaining commercial integrity.
You will negotiate contracts directly with clients and suppliers, becoming an expert on the group's standard terms of business for both contract and permanent services. Compliance will also form part of the caseload.
An England & Wales qualified lawyer 5pqe+ with strong contracts and compliance experience, you will be commercially focused, able to manage your own workload and to work towards tight deadlines.
While not essential, fluency in French, Dutch, German would be useful
