The employment team's work comprises a mix of contentious and non-contentious matters for a diverse range of clients.
The associate can be based in any of the firm's UK offices in London, Cardiff or Oxford, although travel to the other UK based offices will be expected from time to time.
Handling exclusively employment work you will liaise with both more senior associates and partners as well as run your own matters under supervision.
The caseload will consist of a mix of contentious and non-contentious employment work and the associate will have direct contact with a variety of clients.
The focus of the work will be on industrial relations issues including, but not limited to, injunctions and collective agreements, trade unions and European works councils.
The firm is looking for candidates with c 3-7pqe and excellent academics and who have worked within well-respected employment teams.
You will have had specific demonstrable experience of trade union work/works council experience.
You'll have strong analytical ability; a clear communication style (both spoken and written); excellent client handling skills and, above all, you must be a team player.
