THE ROLE

We have a new opportunity for a Data Protection & Compliance Manager to join an established in-house legal department.

The role will focus on the legal requirements surrounding data management, you will be handling a full range of data protection activities, conducting, and responding to audits, preparing, and responding to tenders, responding to data subject requests; preparing DPAs

You will be responsible for ensuring compliance with data protection regulations and guidelines at departmental and company level

THE CANDIDATE

You will have a sound understanding of data protection legislation with hands-on, practical experience of managing a data protection compliance programme

You will have excellent IT skills, familiarity with information security systems and knowledge of good data governance

Ideally you will have a recognised data protection certification with experience/exposure to the Financial Services industry and / or tech/SaaS industries
