A collegial US firm, long established in London.

THE ROLE

Within a team advising on global compliance programmes, preparing data privacy impact assessments, and working on data subject access requests and cyber security breaches - including notification. They have also assisted clients responding to investigations commenced by Data Protection Authorities internationally.

THE ROLE

The team is looking to expand by recruiting a pro-active lawyer with strong experience in privacy, cyber security and disputes.

You will advise on a full-range of data privacy matters, including regulatory compliance, privacy impact assessments, data subject requests, GDPR / CCPA compliance programs and international data flows.

You will be involved in BD activities to include attending events, undertaking research, drafting presentations, writing articles and cementing existing relationships.

The role is unique in offering significant exposure to the firm's international disputes and regulatory team and the opportunity to work across areas.

A City trained lawyer with 1-5pqe+, your experience should include advising on data protection projects, including GDPR/ UK GDPR on international data transfers, drafting privacy notices, negotiating, drafting data processor agreements and advising on marketing and e-Privacy issues.
