Job Description


An entrepreneurial mid town law firm which offers flexible and remote working


A lawyer with 1pqe + who has a background in company law for private companies or tax and is looking specialise in this niche area is now sought.

The work will involve :

Implementing employee incentives such as EMI options, growth shares and gifts of shares in private companies - dealing with design, drafting and tax reporting and tax payment.

Dealing with companies seeking to qualify for SEIS or EIS.

Tax issues arising on re-organisations, demergers, share buy backs and share exchanges.

Planning the structure, drafting the documentation and dealing with HMRC clearance.

Providing tax support for corporate transactions acting for buyers and sellers.

Resolving questions arising with stamp duty and stamp duty land tax.

Dealing with employment related securities.

Expanding the existing offering in wider tax areas such as tax disputes and HMRC investigations.

Preparing cases for the Tax Tribunal.

Non doms and residence work.


With a proven track record in private practice you will join an established team of solicitors which provides high quality client service.

You will need to be able to work flexibly, possess excellent IT skills and be able to work independently.

With regular tax training updates provided by an external provider this role offers a fabulous opportunity for a lawyer looking to make a mark in this area of the law.
