Within a team which provides advice on a range of corporate transactional matters, including M&A, Part VII transfers of business and regulatory aspects of insurance related to Solvency II, the PRA and the FCA regulations.

As a Corporate Insurance Associate, you'll have the opportunity to work in a small and dynamic team, giving you great exposure to a range of work and high levels of responsibility from day one. In house experience would be of great interest.
An Associate with a previous demonstrable track record working in corporate insurance, ideally with a minimum of 3pqe to support a small team you are likely to have:
Experience of Part VII transfers of insurance business in both general and life sectors (desirable not essential).
Experience of transactional work in the corporate insurance sector including reinsurance transactions, M&A and Joint Ventures.
Experience of the regulatory regime for insurance (preferably both for risk carriers and intermediaries) and familiarity with Solvency II and the PRA and FCA regime including authorisation processes, capital requirements and conduct rules and the SIMR/SMCR.
Some experience of advising on product wordings is desired.
The firm would however, consider a corporate lawyer looking to specialise in insurance and will cross train.
