Job Description

Thriving Construction practice continues to seek to expand at every level. Our client is searching for two driven associates (ideally NQ - 10 PQE) to join the team in Birmingham. Whether you are at the early stages of your career in law, or looking to step up at a senior level, they will offer you clear progression opportunities whilst working on a range of complex construction matters both contentious and non-contentious.

They will also look at more senior appointments for the right candidates

The Team

The global Construction Industry Group is strong, operating across a range of jurisdictions. They advise theirr clients on all aspects of their construction projects, Planning and procurement to project lawyering and dispute resolution, The team advises on all standard forms of UK contracts including NEC4, JCT as well as international FIDIC and EPC contracts.

The team is skilled in all forms of dispute resolution including Litigation arbitration (including international arbitration) adjudication and all forms of ADR.

Our Opportunity

The Birmingham team is very active in key sectors such as energy, waste management, chemicals and process plant, infrastructure (including transport), real estate regeneration and development.

On the contentious side the team is winning superb quality, high profile work including in the international arbitration arena. they want to continue this growth trajectory, and to do this, they want to expand our team with associates, who will be able to assist the management of the existing team and to help promote the team and its capabilities to an even wider client audience.

You

Ideally, they're looking for individuals between NQ - 10 post-qualification experience. You'll be coming from a construction team at a strong regional, national or international practice, and will have strong academics. You'll be driven, motivated and have a real passion for construction.

Good matter management is a must and sound knowledge and experience in construction law will set you apart.
