Our client is a prominent national firm who is looking for a further clinical negligence solicitor to join the Newcastle office, of around 4PQE+
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to handle high value and complex claims including birth injury (including injury to both mother and baby), brain and spinal injury, surgical claims, delays in diagnosis, fatal accident claims and inquests. The role on offer presents an opportunity for the successful candidate to make their mark in the medical negligence sector and there are superb long term prospects for progression within the firm as part of a rapidly expanding and successful market-leading team.
To be successful in this role you must:
- Have significant experience in handling medical negligence claims;
- Have the skills to support the team's business development strategy by working with charities, patient support organisations, media outlets and others to raise the profile of the team and its work;
- Be able to operate independently and as part of a team to deliver the best outcomes for our clients and develop other team members;
- Have excellent client care and inter-personal skills, operating with integrity and showing empathy and intuition.
