THE ROLE
The London office is looking to recruit a Civil Fraud Litigator 6 months -3pqe
The Investigations team within Commercial Dispute Resolution advises on civil fraud litigation and asset recovery, with opportunities to become involved with internal investigations concerning regulatory issues from a civil law perspective, cross border trust disputes, crisis management and global asset recovery.
ABOUT YOU
You will need to have a good grounding in contentious matters relating to corporate clients and will be working on large scale fraud disputes concerning financial matters.
The work will also include a mixture of urgent interim relief type applications including worldwide freezing orders, disclosure orders and cross border applications.
You will need to have had trial and interim relief experience and be prepared (when necessary) to work unsocial hours. However the role will not include criminal corporate crime issues.
You will be confident in drafting tailored legal advices, complex correspondence, witness statements, and instructions to counsel along with the ability to settle pleadings, skeleton arguments and submissions - lack of previous experience in any of these areas is not an issue as the right candidate will gain experience and training in the role.
