We have an exclusive mandate to recruit an in house counsel. This is an exceptional and newly created opportunity for an insurance / regulatory solicitor c 10 PQE + to join a highly respected in house legal department to handle a high profile workload.
The post holder will be expected to work at board level. The successful candidate will be expected to take responsibility for the provision of both legal and commercial advice on legal and regulatory areas of the business.
This is a high profile and challenging role with a strong focus on insurance and the impact of forthcoming regulatory change. The post holder will be expected to work alongside the legal department and stakeholders.
It is envisaged the successful candidate will have a city law firm/insurance background, preferably with a knowledge of the insurance industry. Applicants with a corporate or banking background would also be of particular interest.
Candidates must be able to demonstrate first rate technical skills and the confidence to work at board level.
