The Company

Our client is a leading provider of a range of residential and commercial legal indemnity insurance policies to the property sector.

The Role

The company has an exciting opportunity for a Business Development executive to drive revenue growth, increase market share and market awareness of the company's residential title products through allocated Law firms.

The successful candidate will grow existing and develop new relationships with key players in agreed business territories to build the company's profile and become clients' preferred provider of residential title insurance.

You will successfully create and execute selling strategies that will result in the delivery of sales objectives for company products within agreed target markets. You will also ensure Compliance with Anti-Money Laundering procedures, Risk Assessment monitoring and Internal Audit requirements.

You will work to improve the company's profile through effective marketing and public relations and identify and understand risks that threaten the achievement of business objectives and continue to work with appropriate internal areas to develop systems, people, processes and controls to manage these risks.

The successful candidate will be willing to travel around and be based in the South, travel is a key requirement of this role.

The Candidate

While the ideal candidate does not have to be legally qualified, the company is interested in talking to either marketing oriented lawyers looking for a change of direction or business development specialists with a strong knowledge of the property market.

The ideal candidate will be commercially aware and have the ability to effectively communicate in all forms at all levels within an organisation.

You will be results orientated and be able to focus on specific targets and demonstrate target achievement. You will also have the ability to be clear and focussed on achieving the end result even when faced with repeated external obstacles and have the ability to seek out new opportunities and develop through to fruition.

The successful candidate will have a passionate desire to 'win' new business and understand the clients' business and develops a partnership approach to problem resolution.
